PREPARATION

Please Bring a headshot and resume. Actors should wear dance attire and jazz shoes and prepare a Rock/Pop song in the style of the show. Singing from the show is welcome. An Accompanist will be provided.

ELLE WOODS:
The quintessential “Valley Girl”. Follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School, and realizes that she has more to offer than just a pretty face and a bubbly personality Soprano belt, Gb2 - G5.

EMMETT FOREST
Male, any ethnicity, 21-28. (B2-A4 Tenor) - Emmett is a smart, quirky, sensitive and personable law student. Must be comfortable with dogs. A strong singer/actor. LEADING ROLE

PAULETTE BUONOFUONTE
Female, any ethnicity, 32-45. (A3-A5 Belt) - Brash, caring and optimistic. Must be comfortable with dogs. A strong singer with a powerful belt to match the personality. LEADING ROLE

PILAR
Female, any ethnicity, 21-25. (G#3-F5 Belt) is the sassy and sensible sorority sister. Margot, Serena, & Pilar are Elle's entourage who follow her through the story acting as her “Greek Chorus”. Strong singers and dancers with good comic timing and youthful energy! SUPPORTING ROLE

MARGOT
Female, any ethnicity, 21-25. (G#3-F5 Belt) is seemingly dim-witted, boy-crazy sorority sister. Margot, Serena, & Pilar are Elle's entourage who follow her through the story acting as her “Greek Chorus”. Strong singers and dancers with good comic timing and youthful energy! SUPPORTING ROLE

SERENA
Female, any ethnicity, 21-25. (G#3-F5 Belt) is the energetic cheerleader, from Jewish heritage, sorority sister. Margot, Serena, & Pilar are Elle's entourage who follow her through the story acting as her “Greek Chorus”. Strong singers and dancers with good comic timing and youthful energy! SUPPORTING ROLE

PROFESSOR CALLAHAN
Male, any ethnicity, 45-55. (A2-F#4 Baritone) - Callahan is a pompous and manipulative law professor at Harvard. Charismatic but able to turn instantly into a conniving shark at the turn of a hat. LEADING ROLE

WARNER HUNTINGTON III
Male, any ethnicity, 21-25. (Eb3-Ab4 Tenor) - Warner is attractive and charming but very self-absorbed. LEADING ROLE

VIVIENNE KENSINGTON
Female, any ethnicity, 21-25. (A3-F5 HUGE Belt) - Vivienne is an overachieving, stuck-up, wealthy, smart and savvy law student who is intellectually driven. SUPPORTING ROLE

BROOKE WYNDHAM/ENSEMBLE MOM
Female, any ethnicity, 21-28. Must be a strong singer and dancer - Brooke is an exercise video star and former Delta Nu sorority girl who was accused of murder. Will play Ensemble and featured Ensemble in ACT 1. 5'8-5'11 would be ideal. Being physically fit is a must for this role. SUPPORTING ROLE

ENSEMBLE/KYLE/DEWEY
Male singer who moves well who is charismatic and funny and handsome to play Kyle, The UPS guy who inspires the bend and snap number and also doubles as Dewey, Paulette's ex... who lives in a trailer. MUST be in great Physical Shape, over 5'11 and very muscular. ENSEMBLE ROLE

KATE/CHUTNEY/ENSEMBLE
Female, 21-30, any ethnicity. Character Actress who sings and dances very well and plays both Kate, an intellectual sorority girl and Chutney Wyndham, Brooke Wyndham's stepdaughter, who is a pivotal witness on the stand. Must be funny and sing and dance.

ENID/ENSEMBLE
21-25 who mainly plays the featured ensemble role of ENID. Character Actress who sings well and is funny and interesting playing feminist law student ENID. Also plays Sorority girl. Dancing is a plus.
