[KING OF FRANCE] – Marries Lear’s daughter, Cordelia.
[DUKE OF BURGUNDY] – Refuses to marry Lear’s daughter Cordelia after she is disowned by her father.
[AIDE TO CORNWALL] – Proficient in ASL.
SEEKING UNDERSTUDIES FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
[KING LEAR] – CAST - Aging King of Britain
[CORDELIA] – CAST - Lear’s youngest daughter, disowned by her father. Marries the King of France.
[GONERIL] – CAST - Lear’s oldest daughter and the wife of the duke of Albany.
[REGAN] – CAST - Lear’s middle daughter and the wife of the duke of Cornwall.
[GLOUCESTER] – CAST - A nobleman loyal to King Lear whose rank, earl, is below that of duke.
[EDGAR] – CAST - Gloucester’s older, legitimate son.
[EDMUND] – CAST - Gloucester’s younger, illegitimate son.
[KENT] – CAST - A nobleman of the same rank as Gloucester. One of Lear’s most loyal subjects & friends.
[ALBANY] – CAST - The husband of Lear’s daughter Goneril.
[DUKE OF CORNWALL] – CAST - The husband of Lear’s daughter Regan.
[OSWALD] – CAST - The steward of Goneril’s house.
