KING HEDLEY II – early 30’s. Male. African American. Proud, charismatic, resolute. Strong-willed. Stubborn. He has his own moral compass that he is guided by; “As long as I have breath in my body I’m going to do what’s right for me.” Deeply frustrated by the injustices and the double standards inherent in society that stand in his way, and determined to carve out a living for himself and his family and to prove to the world “that King Hedley II is here.”
