EDGAR ALLAN POE (Already cast)

VIRGINIA POE (Already cast)

THE MADMAN/THE PRISONER – male identifying 30’s to 50’s to play the insane man in “The Tell-Tale Heart” and the prisoner in “The Pit and the Pendulum”; will also play one of the guests in “The Masque of the Red Death.”

LIGEIA/LUCIANA – female identifying 30’s to 50’s; a sultry, single-minded murderess

POLICEMAN – male identifying 20’s; a garrulous naif

2 ENSEMBLE – 1 male identifying, 1 female identifying to understudy and play various roles throughout the piece

All roles can be played as any ethnicity.

ALL CHILDISH THINGS by Joseph Zettelmaier

DAVE BULLANSKI – male identifying, an IT tech and consummate Star Wars geek (the safecracker), late 20’s – early 30’s

? MAX FARLEY – male identifying, a U-Haul driver and consummate Star Wars geek (the getaway driver), late 20’s – early 30’s ?

CARTER SLOAN – male identifying, a stockboy w/ Kenner Toys and consummate Star Wars geek (the insider), late 20’s – early 30’s

KENDRA JOHNSON – female identifying, a movie theatre employee (the connection), and Carter’s girlfriend; she is not a huge Star Wars fan, but may be the smartest person on the team; late 20’s – early 30’s

THE FIRESTORM

GABY – female identifying, mid to late 30’s, Black. An antitrust attorney. Partner at a well-respected firm in Columbus, Ohio. She’s got a quick, dry wit. A well-practiced pokerface. She is strategic– not to be confused with manipulative–in all aspects of her life.

PATRICK – male identifying, late 30’s to mid 40’s, White. Candidate for Governor of Ohio. Married to Gaby. While impressive and magnetic, his inner geek still surfaces from time to time. He’s got a let’s-roll-up-our-sleeves-and-get-to-work approach to politics. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know the game. Or how to play it.

LESLIE – female identifying, late 20’s, White. Patrick’s assistant campaign manager. High energy. A little awkward. Sometimes her mouth moves a step faster than her brain. But she is neither ditzy nor dumb. Knows when to take charge. Her career takes top billing in her life.

JAMAL – male identifying, late 30’s to mid 40’s (same age as Patrick), Black. The CEO and founder of a successful software company in Atlanta. A father of two. A quiet kid who grew into himself. He walks into a room and commands attention. Not because he’s aggressive or insistent–it’s because he knows exactly who he is.

HENRY V

HENRY V – Already cast

ENSEMBLE – a cast of 12 who will each play multiple, named roles; casting is both ethnic and gender non-specific for all roles. All actors need strong language skills and the ability to play multiple, clearly distinct characters. Strong fight skills preferred, with longsword/broadsword experience a plus.

All roles can be played as any ethnicity.
