*Anticipated rehearsal schedule is Wednesdays-Mondays 10:00AM-4:00PM with Tuesdays as the day off. Technical
rehearsals will be Nov, 3-5, 2018. All rehearsals will take place at Babson College in Wellesley where CSC is the
theater in residence. Actors are responsible for their own travel to/from Babson College.

BREAKDOWN

Seeking the following. All actors will play multiple roles.

Derek in BK; Man in HWG:
Male, late 30s-early 40s. Derek: A young man who poses as the biological son of four different women in order to defraud them? To be loved? Man: An older man, moving toward the afterlife, having a bit of an existential crisis. Looking for an actor who moves well, is very adept at language, and can play a range of ages.

Mrs. Plant/Mrs. Vane in BK; Funeral Partygoer in HWG:
Female, 60s. Mrs. Plant wants to believe Derek is her son. Her language devolves. Mrs. Vane wants to come clean to her husband about Derek. Funeral Partygoer: character to be discovered. Looking for an actor who is very adept at language and character creation.

Mrs. Oliver/Mr. Vane in BK; Funeral Partygoer in HWG:
Female, 60s. Mrs. Oliver wants to believe Derek is her son. Her language devolves. Mr. Vane is the tipsy, compassionate husband of Mrs. Vane. Funeral Partygoer: character to be discovered. Looking for an actor who is very adept at language and character creation.

Mrs. Clarence/Mother in BK; Funeral Partygoer in HWG:
Female, 30+. Mrs. Clarence: 80s, wants to believe Derek is her son, but doesn’t remember much. Mother: Derek’s biological mother, 70s, in a geriatric hospital. Funeral Partygoer: character to be discovered, 30s-40s. Looking for a character actor who is very adept at language and can play a range of genders and ages from 30 to 80.

Enid in BK/Funeral Partygoer in HWG:
Female, early 30s. Enid: Derek’s girlfriend who knows about his strange behavior and is in an ethical quandary. Funeral Partygoer: the young wife of the deceased. Looking for an actor who is very adept at language and character creation.
