[EMILY DICKINSON] Female, 35 – 55. American poet. A complex, observant woman whose mind constantly races with intricate ideas. Her thoughts are spoken aloud with a combination of subtle irony, cynicism, and humor. She has a profound nature.

The following role has been CAST:

[OPERATIC MEZZO SOPRANO] Female, Any age. Rep includes songs from Amy Beach. Soprano is a reflection of Emily Dickinson, an abstraction of poetry and desire. Must be a trained, operatic soprano. CAST
