Vintage Theatre Presents The Denver Premiere Of A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER

Vintage Theatre presents the Denver premiere of "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" February 8 through March 24 at Vintage Theatre, 1468 Dayton St., Aurora, 80010. Performances are Fridays, Saturdays and Monday, February 18 at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $19 - $38 and available online at www.vintagetheatre.org or by calling 303-856-7830.

This is the hilarious story of Monty Navarro, an heir to a family fortune who sets out to jump the line of succession by-you guessed it-eliminating the eight pesky relatives who stand in his way. All the while Monty has to juggle his mistress, his fiancée and the constant threat of landing behind bars! Of course, it will all be worth it if he can slay his way to his inheritance... and be done in time for tea!

The cast includes Andy Sercause (Monty), Brandon Bill (The D'Ysquith Family), Anne Jenness (Sibella), Katie Jackson (Phoebe) and Christine Kahane (Miss Shingle). Joining them onstage are ensemble members Michael Bateman, Jon Bee, Todd Black, Anthony Colangelo, Steven Hartman, Michelle Jeffres, Brooks Larsen, Misha McCulloch, Abby McInerney, Brooke McNamara, Reed Roffis and Jessie Sotwick

Musical numbers include "A Warning to the Audience," "You're a D'Ysquith," "A Warning to Monty" and "I Don't Understand the Poor."

"A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" is based on the 1907 novel Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal by Roy Horniman. The show opened on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre November 17, 2013, running until January 17, 2016. The Broadway production won four Tony's at the 68th Tony Awards in June 2014, including Best Musical.
