Northglenn Arts Presents Cleo Parker Dance Ensemble

Northglenn Arts presents two performances of the Cleo Parker Dance Ensemble on February 1. Cleo Parker Dance is a Denver institution, based in Five Points, that has served the community for 48 years, teaching generations of families the beauty, fun and healing power of dance.

Under the direction of Cleo Parker Robinson, the Ensemble performs a dynamic body of works inspired by the African American experience and rooted in ethnic and modern dance traditions worldwide. The company creates to transcend the boundaries of culture, class and age while unequivocally communicating the complexity of the human condition.

Performances include a free student matinee show at 10 am, and a family evening show at 7:30 pm. Evening performance tickets are priced at $14 for adults, $12 for youth and seniors, and $8 for groups. The morning show is a free event, but a ticketed event. Visit NorthglennArts.org for tickets. Shows are held at the D.L. Parsons Theatre, inside the Northglenn Recreation Center at 11801 Community Center Drive.

The Northglenn Arts & Humanities Foundation (NAHF) is a 501(c)3 organization that provides funding for quality youth theatre, public art, and other cultural endeavors in our community. NAHF was founded in 1990. The D.L. Parsons Theatre is a 302-seat venue owned and operated by the City of Northglenn located ½ mile south of 120th Ave. and Grant St. in Northglenn, Colorado.
