Sordid Lives creator Del Shores returns to Dallas for the world premiere of his new standup show Del Shores The Sh*t Stirrer. Shores will take the stage at The Rose Room March 8, 2019 at 8pm, where he has performed numerous times and filmed three of his standup tours. Shores also filmed part of his last film A Very Sordid Wedding at the legendary room, which featured Dallas queens Cassie Nova, Krystal Summers and Edna Jean Robinson.

Sordid Lives creator Del Shores' new show comes on the heals of the critically acclaimed tour of his one-man play Six Characters In Search Of A Play which was presented in Dallas by Kitchen Dog Theatre at Trinity River Arts Center last year. Shores performed the play 75 times in 34 cities and once at sea. The critical darling, directed by Emerson Collins, made many "Best Of 2018" theatre lists, including The Dallas Voice and The Dallas Observer. It was nominated for Best Solo Show (LA) by Broadway World and won an LA Scenie Award for Outstanding Writing and Performance of a Solo Show. The play will be filmed for film festivals and DVD release in February at The Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles.

"Needless to say, I have been having a love affair with Dallas and The Rose Room for years. I consider Dallas my home away from home, and I'm so excited to just stand with a microphone in hand in my favorite room again and talk some sh*t, unscripted," the Texas native said. A self-described left-of-left liberal, the show will reflect Shores' strong opinions, politics with more stories about his own uncensored life and colorful relatives. Shores warns, "This one probably has something to offend everyone."
