Music Theater Works Presents JUDY GARLAND: COME RAIN OR COME SHINE An homage to entertainer Judy Garland will be presented by Music Theater Works at Nichols Concert in Evanston, October 5-14, 2018.

Judy Garland: COME RAIN OR COME SHINE starring Jeff Award winner Angela Ingersoll (END OF THE RAINBOW) captures the emotional and vocal power of Judy Garland live in concert. Seen on WTTW Channel 11 this past spring, the concert includes such iconic songs as "Over the Rainbow," "Get Happy," and "The Man That Got Away."

The Judy Garland presentation is Music Theater Works' third production of 2018. The season concludes with Stephen Sondheim's INTO THE WOODS (December 22-31, 2018).

Angela Ingersoll returns to Music Theater Works, where she appeared as Nellie Forbush in the company's 2006 production of SOUTH PACIFIC. Her PBS concert special GET HAPPY: Angela Ingersoll SINGS Judy Garland premiered on WTTW Channel 11 this past spring. Ingersoll is known for her Jeff Award-winning portrayal of Judy Garland in END OF THE RAINBOW, headlining in Chicago (Porchlight Music Theatre), Los Angeles (La Mirada Theatre), Southern California (Laguna Playhouse), and St Louis (Max & Louie Productions). Her star turn also earned a Broadway World Award. Attracting the attention of Garland's family, she enjoys the distinction of partnering with Garland's son onstage for Joey Luft AND Angela Ingersoll CELEBRATE Judy Garland.
