Ovens Auditorium Announces ANASTASIA, WICKED, and More

Ovens Auditorium, located in the East Charlotte neighborhood just outside of Uptown Charlotte, will continue its over 60 year old tradition of hosting top Broadway musicals with seven upcoming shows presented by Blumenthal Performing Arts:

  • Les Misérables
  • Jersey Boys
  • Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
  • My Fair Lady
  • Blue Man Group
  • Anastasia
  • Wicked

Open since 1955, Ovens Auditorium is a historic performing arts venue in Charlotte. The venue has hosted hundreds of Broadway musicals since 1957-the first was Pajama Game in January of that year. Other Broadway shows that have graced the stage throughout the years include The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Chicago, Cats, The Wizard of Oz and Wicked -the latter of which was sold out in 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2016 and will be returning in 2020.
