THE WOLVES Come To Open Stage Of Harrisburg

Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves, a 2017 Pulitzer Prize finalist, comes to Open Stage on the heels of its ground-breaking success on stages across the country. After sold-out New York runs, The Wolves is set to run at Open Stage February 16 to March 3.

Under the direction of Rachel Landon, Open Stage is proud to present this poignant, energetic play that has been flooring audiences with its realism, humor, and heartbreaking honestly.

The Wolves tells the story of nine adolescent girls, teammates on a soccer team in a suburban town. The audience witnesses a group of fierce young athletes preparing to defend their team's undefeated record-- and get a strikingly honesty look into what it means to be a teenage girl. Set on an indoor soccer field, this slice-of-life play shows us the conversations of the high school girls as they prepare for their game-covering everything from politics, sports and school, to family, friendship, and heartbreak.

Open Stage brings to life this fast paced, quick witted show as a part of Season 33, a season dedicated to telling coming-of-age stories. Previous shows of Season 33, CARRIE THE MUSICAL and FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE/ WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF, and upcoming shows THE KIDS YOU READ ABOUT IN TEXTBOOKS and RAGTIME, all of which celebrate tales of growth and self-discovery.

Tickets to The Wolves and more information can be found at www.openstagehbg.com or by calling the box office at 717-232-6736. The Wolves runs February 16-March 3 at Open Stage of Harrisburg, 25 North Court Street.
