Summer Camps Announced At Fort Caspar Museum

Do you know a kid who loves history? Fort Caspar Museum will offer three camps this summer in June, July, and August. Each camp will be three days long, and kids may sign up for one, two, or all three. Participants will explore different aspects of Wyoming history, including Plains Indians, parfleches, pictographs and petroglyphs, wildlife, the Frontier Army, Platte Bridge Station and Fort Caspar, the Pony Express, Pioneer trails, and much more.

The three-day-long camps will run 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on June 26 to 28; July 10 to 12; and July 31 to August 2. They are open to kids from 2nd grade through 6th grade and are limited to ten children per camp. Each three-day camp costs $60 for members and $80 for non-members.

Campers will enjoy fun activities, games, and projects based on different Wyoming history themes. A snack and all materials will be provided, but students will need to bring their own lunches. Enroll now before the camps fill up!
