The Fort Caspar Museum Association is hosting a fundraising event in support of Fort Caspar Museum. Join us for an interactive murder mystery evening that includes a mock murder, a cast of suspects, and lots of clues, plus dinner, a costume contest, silent auction, and more. "Murder at the Gothberg Ranch" will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at Casper's historic Gothberg Ranch, just west of Casper off of Highway 220.
Enjoy a Western-style barbeque meal from Bullwhip Catering as you witness a murder and then become "detectives" in this fun-filled mystery evening. This is a participatory event, and attendees are literally a part of the show. As a detective, you will question the cast of suspects and see if you can collect enough clues by the end of the evening to solve the crime.
Guests are encouraged-but not required-to get into the spirit of the evening by wearing Old West attire. A costume contest will determine the best outfit. This is primarily an outdoor event, and it will proceed rain or shine. Sensible walking shoes are required. Doors open at 5:00 pm, and the mystery and dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. A cash bar will be available, and we will hold a silent auction as well.
The cost for the event is $50 for individuals and $90 for couples. Tickets are limited so get yours early; the last day to buy tickets is Tuesday, August 21st. Purchase your tickets in person or over the phone with a credit card at Fort Caspar Museum or by cash, check, or charge in person at the Museum.
