Nick Adams, Donald Webber, Jr. and More Join 'We Write Good: The Songs Of Thomson & Desmon' at Feinstein's/54 Below

A host of Broadway, television, and recording artists will join songwriting team Jeff Thomson and Jeremy Desmon in concert on May 27th at 9:30 PM at 54 Below (254 W 54th St, New York, NY 10019).

Executive Producer Marilyn Eckley presents... We Write Good: The Songs of Thomson & Desmon featuring musical performances by Tony nominated artist Tom Hewitt (Chicago, Amazing Grace, Doctor Zhivago, The Rocky Horror Show), Justin Guarini ("American Idol," In Transit), Colton Ryan (Dear Evan Hansen), Max Crumm (Disaster!, Grease), Emma Hunton (Next To Normal, Spring Awakening), Darren Ritchie (Wonderland, Dracula, the Musical, Les Miserables), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Adam B. Shapiro (HBO's The Normal Heart), Morgan Reilly (Pop Recording Artist & Songwriter), Jillian Gottlieb (world premiere of The New World directed by Stafford Arima). The performance line-up is subject to change and additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Joining the concert in the most recent finalized casting includes Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Jamie LaVerdiere (Producers, Motown, The Pirate Queen), Donald Webber, Jr. (Hamilton), Becca Ayers (Avenue Q, Les Misérables, The Addams Family, South Pacific), CJ Eldred (Book of Mormon), and Katie Kern (Jawbreaker).

Featured ensemble will include Diana Huey, Leslie Spencer, Bill Coyne, and Kenneth Kyle; with other ensemble singers: Ry Armstrong, Olivia Griffin, Danny Marin, Carly Rose, and Blake Zolfo.

Jeff Thomson (music) and Jeremy Desmon (book and lyrics) are known for creating highly theatrical musicals across a wide range of styles. Projects include: Pump Up The Volume, a rock adaptation of the 1990 Christian Slater film; Nancy Drew, a Broadway-bound musical comedy based on Simon & Schuster's iconic sleuth; The Oliver Experiment, a high-concept, wildly imaginative musical set in the theatre world; Big Rock, a fantastical comedy called "a rock/pop Brigadoon" and Auburn Falls v. Google, a contemporary fairy tale that pits a tiny hamlet against an unstoppable force. In addition, they've provided two original songs to One Hit Wonder, a new jukebox musical by Mr. Desmon, developed by The Araca Group and ABC Television. Jeff is a Jonathan Larson Award-winning composer who has written scores for Jawbreaker, Trails (Village Theatre), Midnight (Amazon Studios), Beyond Red and off-Broadway's Mad Libs Live! His songs have been performed by Adam Lambert, Lea Michele, JoJo, and Elizabth Gillies and he was a featured songwriter in the acclaimed Lincoln Center songbook series. Jeremy is a Kleban Prize-winning bookwriter/lyricist known for The Girl in the Frame (Norma Terris Theatre), the "revisal" of Good News (Goodspeed Opera House), Surviving the Avalanche (Barrington Stage), Cyrano de BurgerShack (120+ school productions) and the play, Mudd, a comedy about the Lincoln assassination. Additionally, he's written touring shows for Disney Live, Disney on Ice, Sesame Workshop, Universal, and multiple editions of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
