Liz Callaway, Telly Leung, and More to Appear as Special Guests with Margo Seibert at Joe's Pub

Margo Seibert - the actor, vocalist and songwriter who has taken Broadway by storm in musicals such as Rocky and In Transit - will welcome a roster of special musical guests for her 77th Street album release concert at Joe's Pub on Monday, October 22 at 9:30 PM. She will be joined by Liz Callaway (Tony Award nominee), Telly Leung (Broadway's Aladdin, "Glee"), Nicholas Ward (Frozen), Erin Mackey (Wicked), and Heather Christian (Animal Wisdom). The evening will reunite Seibert with her co-stars of Broadway's In Transit, which also featured Leung, Ward and Mackey.

77th Street, her compelling and heartfelt debut solo album, will be released by Yellow Sound Label on Friday, October 26. To pre-order 77th Street, please visit www.YellowSoundLabel.com and to purchase tickets to the concert, visit JoesPub.com.

Produced by Michael Croiter, 77th Street features Seibert's inspired original songs that incorporate eclectic rock and folk influences, and reimagined theater and pop classics, both delivered with her nuanced vocal performances that have captivated critics and audiences. The band for both the album and Joe's Pub is led by Musical Director Tedd Firth on piano and B3 organ, with Sasha Brown on electric and acoustic guitar, Michael Croiter on drums, and Alan Stevens Hewitt on electric and fretless bass.

In addition, Margo will co-star Off-Broadway in Larissa Fasthorse's The Thanksgiving Play at Playwrights Horizons - directed by Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Hand to God, Present Laughter) - which begins performances on October 12.

"77th Street is an homage to the in-betweens of life," says Margo. "Employment is fleeting for an artist. We spend months, even years searching for the next right fit. It was during one of these periods that I began to pay attention to the melodies and lyrics I had been squirreling away for years. I'm an actress, but I never entertained the idea that I could be a writer. Imposter syndrome loomed large. My friend Michael Croiter urged me to continue creating music. I wrestled to embrace all parts of me - artist, imposter, writer, singer without formal training, woman resistant to surrender, tenacious self-improver, fiercly loyal lover of 70s, 80s, and 90s music - and invited them out to play. I then took these elements and the location where inspiration hit, my first apartment on East 77th Street, and set out to explore this unappreciated time in our lives between now and the next thing. The times when the stories of our lives are written. This album is collection of songs that express the exhilaration of knowing anything is possible, the frustration of being stuck, the heartache of letting someone go, and all the rest of the beautiful in-betweens."

Margo Seibert originated the leading roles of "Adrian" in the Broadway production of Rocky (Drama League Award Nomination), and of "Jane" in the new Broadway musical, In Transit. Off-Broadway credits include Tamar of the River (2014 Drama Desk Award nomination, "Outstanding Actress in a Musical"), and The Undeniable Sound of Right Now. Her select regional credits include: A Doll's House, Part II; Ever After; The Last Five Years; and Candide. Margo's TV credits include "Instinct," "The Good Cop," "Elementary," and "Boardwalk Empire."
