Katie McGrath Brings 'Aunt Of The Year' to Don't Tell Mama

Katie McGrath, award-winning Manhattan cabaret performer, brings her signature practice of cause-driven cabaret to the iconic venue Don't Tell Mama on Saturday, 2/16/19, at 7pm.

Her new show, "Aunt of the Year," explores how a happily childless, pleasure-seeking single woman became a besotted aunt to a tribe of nieces and nephews. Rick Jensen, celebrated composer and pianist, is the Music Director. Lina Koutrakos is the Director.

For this performance, 100% of her proceeds will be donated to New York Common Pantry, the organization dedicated to reducing hunger throughout New York City while promoting dignity and self-sufficiency. http://nycommonpantry.org

McGrath noted, "I volunteer at New York Common Pantry (NYCP). It's a remarkable organization, providing a wide array of services to establish long-term independence for those they serve. Cabaret is a great medium for me to do what I love, singing and telling stories, and raising awareness and money for important groups like NYCP."
