Eve Marie, Former Child Star, Plays The Green Room 42 in November

Eve Marie, a singing prodigy who performed on such iconic national television programs as The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and the Mike Douglas Show as a young child and now is creating music industry buzz with a recent contemporary album, Believe, brings her extraordinary singing and songwriting talents to The Green Room 42 in New York City for a 7 p.m.concert on Friday, Nov. 16.

Eve Marie, a classically trained singer whose full name is Eve Marie Shahoian, is often compared with Celine Dion, Sarah McLaughlin and Josh Groban for her crossover appeal. On Nov. 16, she will perform with legendary pianist/director Bette Sussman, known for her collaborations and tours with Whitney Houston and Bette Midler. Eve Marie is pairing up again with Sussman after their first show in January at Feinstein's/54 Below in New York City.

Featuring an all-star band, Shahoian and Sussman will be joined by bassist Lee Nadelfrom the Waitress cast, Broadway guitarist Larry Saltzman and drummer Doug Yowell(Judy Collins, Joe Jackson, Suzanne Vega). Known for her stunning soprano voice and stage presence, Eve Marie has performed at many of the Bay Area's top jazz venues including San Francisco's Rrazz Room and Feinstein's at the Nikko, the Sound Room in Oakland, as well as Feinstein's/54 Below in New York City. Besides The Green Room 42 date, she also returns to New York in July to headline at the Birdland Jazz Club

Eve Marie, who grew up in Oakland, CA, has tried to balance a singing career and home life that includes two teenagers. There is irony in her providing normal childhoods to her daughter (17) and son (14). Some 25 years ago at their age, Eve Marie was singing with John Davidson or acting with Victoria Principal on NBC Network. She also performed with the late, great Liberace.
