The CSO Announces Lineup For 2019 SUMMER NIGHT MUSIC Neighborhood Concert Series

The Columbus Symphony today announced the classical concert lineup for the 2019 Summer Night Music Neighborhood Concert Series. Started in 2017 as a way to take classical music out to central Ohio communities, the series provides a relaxed setting to share symphonic music with friends and neighbors.

The CSO will tour two programs of light classics. The schedule is as follows:

The Strings of the Columbus Symphony - Worthington

Sunday, June 23, 3pm

Congregation Beth Tikvah (6121 Olentangy River Rd., Worthington)

Program:

Mozart: Divertimento in F Major

Mendelssohn: Sinfonia No. 12 in G Minor

Puccini: The Chrysanthemum

Grainger: Irish Tune from County Derry

Copland: "Hoe Down" from Rodeo

The strings of the Columbus Symphony delight in a serenade of light classics. The unconducted program will be led by CSO Concertmaster Joanna Frankel.
