SPAMALOT Opens Jan. 11th at Kavinoky Theatre

The Kavinoky Theatre, a professional theatre on the campus of D'Youville College, continues its 39th season with the hilarious musical comedy Spamalot.

Monty Python stalwart Eric Idle and composer John Du Prez adapt the classic film Monty Python and the Holy Grail into a musical featuring the Knights Who Say Ni, killer rabbits, and other Python touches. Director/Choreographer Lynne Kurdziel Formato returns after directing last season's smash hits The Producers and Mamma Mia!

The Kavinoky has assembled a cast of some of Buffalo's finest musical theatre talent: Gregory Gjurich as King Arthur, Louis Colaiacovo as Sir Robin, Dudney Joseph as Sir Galahad, Bobby Cooke as Sir Bedevere, Steve Copps as Sir Lancelot, Arin Lee Dandes as Patsy, and Michele Marie Roberts as The Lady of the Lake. Others include Lucas Denies, Anna Fernandez, Kelly Copps, Kevin R. Kennedy, Kevin Donahue, Cassidy Kreuzer, Emily Prucha, Arianne Davidow, Kennedy Jordan, Sean Murphy, Doug Weyand, and Dan Urtz with Musical Direction by Allan Paglia.

Performances for this four week engagement (January 11th-February 3rd) will take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. The gala opening night performance will be held on Friday, January 11th at 7:30 p.m. and includes a catered reception by Carte Blanche Restaurant with the cast following the performance.
