Ann Hampton Callaway Celebrates The Golden Age Of Silver Screen Love Songs In JAZZ GOES TO THE MOVIES

On Stage At Kingsborough, a leading performing arts presenter, is pleased to present its 2018-2019 season featuring world class artists from around the globe. On Stage At Kingsborough brings top notch performing arts to Southern Brooklyn, with an eclectic roster of artists spanning multiple genres including cabaret, dance, music, and family programming. The full season runs through May 17, 2019.

On Saturday March 30th, TONY award nominee Ann Hampton Callaway celebrates the golden age of love songs written for the silver screen, including Vernon Duke's "Taking a Chance on Love," Irving Berlin's "Let's Face the Music and Dance", and Herman Hupfeld's classic "As Time Goes By." Callaway will also perform songs she has recorded for films, including "Come Rain or Come Shine" and "The Nearness of You." The audience will have a chance to meet Ann Hampton Callaway after the Show!

Ann Hampton Callaway is a TONY nominee (Broadway's Swing!) and Platinum Award winner whose songs are featured on seven of Barbra Streisand's CDs. She wrote and sang the theme song for the hit TV series The Nanny, and is the only composer to have collaborated with Cole Porter.
