Thank you for posting that! I saw people had posted and it was re Removed so I’d been searching. What a good way to start the new year. Looks like 2021 will give us
-Season 13 -All Stars 6 -Drag Race UK 2 -Drag Race Canada 2 -Drag Race Holland 2 -Drag Race Australia -Drag Race Spain
There’s a few too many “I say what I want and if you don’t like it you can drop dead because I tell it like it is” Queens for my liking but we’ll see how they actually are when the show starts.

Yup. I’ve known Rosé for a while and know what she is capable of. I hope she turns it out.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
After season 12 which was, for me, the best in years, I'm very excited for season 13. I'm really liking Symone from what I've seen of her so far - she reminds me of Eartha Kitt or Grace Jones - beautiful and cooky.
Apparently, the season is opening with 6 LSFYL’s. I’m... perplexed. Is it just to have everyone show what they can do? Or are we looking at a truncated season right from the jump? I’m sure it’ll end up being a lame bait-and-switch of some kind, but I’m definitely intrigued.
Also, Drag Race UK 2 is airing beginning January 14th! So. Much. Drag.
Kandy's "confidence" disappeared when she hit the stage. Also didn't seem to know all the words. The other one out performed her. Cute guy, cuter queen. Painted well. Kandy looked the same...just had on a wig and makeup.

Honestly, I’ll never understand why Queens have gone from being bitchy and fun to being bitches and mean. Just takes all the fun out of it."
The art of casual reading is knowing how to do it without taking it to a "hurt someone's feelings" level. Every good MC from back in the day, could read you, but they weren't nasty about it. Charlie Brown is a good example. We've all had people in out life, who never hesitate in trying to get a dig in. However, when you gave it back to them, then they are shook and call you out for being such a terrible person. I had a friend, the more he drank, he thought nothing of throwing insults after insults. He thought he was being cute. But when I gave it back, he would cry and tell me what a nasty person I was.
Exactly. There's no fun in it anymore. "Reading" has been replaced with "I'm here to tell you the truth which means I'm gonna be as cruel as I possibly can but you can't get mad at me because I'm a drag queen and I'm smiling while I say these insanely mean things that you're not allowed to respond to because I said so Okrrrrrrrrr."
I was having this conversation with some friends about how reading has really gone downhill over the seasons. People are either afraid of the villain edit or are just bitchy and mean with no nuance, and I wonder if part of that is just rise of social media. That the younger queens don't have the practice of being in front of actual people to learn how to read people and the room.
