Anyone still watch? Haven't been loving this current season, especially compared to last. I still make the effort to watch every week. Who is everyone rooting for?

I still watch. I rarely tape tv or watch later on demand, so I make sure I'm home on Wednesday nights by 7PM to tune in.

As always, I am shallow and don't learn every contestants name.

I hope the payoff for Edge of Extinction is satisfying. I like the idea that EVERYONE is still in the game, but I only want this idea to play out for only one season.

I wouldn't mind if ANY of the 4 veteran players won.

I love annoying players. The goofy woman who wanted to release the chickens is an awful player, which is fun.

MadDog - or whatever his name is - will be voted out soon.

Ok, time for Saturday morning pancakes.

I like the idea of the Island of Extinction or what ever it is called. If someone gets voted off early that you like you get to see a little more of them. I think over the years they have gotten a little too generous with the hidden immunity idols. I liked it better when there were no so many to find.

I'm casually watching it, but my interest is not great enough to feel the need to tune in weekly.  The problem I have with Survivor as well as other shows, it seems the minute the Fall session ends, the Winter one shows up.  But I guess as long as people tune in and they get the ratings, this isn't going to change.

Blah. I mean, I guess I’m glad Chris won out of those 3 but what a boring final 3. Rick should have won the million, his game was perfect. I’m looking forward to when he inevitably comes back.

I don't think Rick would have won if he was in final 3.  I agree his game was perfect and he would have received some votes, but not enough for the win.  That jury gave me the impression that he wasn't well liked and were too bitter to separate personality from game play.  I'm glad he received $100,000 from Sia.  On another note, what the hell happened to Gavin?  Usually they look better after "cleaning up".  Although I wasn't a fan, he still was kind of cute while on the island.  At the finale......oof.

Oh I think he absolutely would have won! Look at the game he played! He didn’t make any real enemies and the only reason they wanted him gone for so long was because he was such a great player.

Rick totally would have won if he got there. The jury was eating up everything he did! However, Chris was voted out 3rd and Rick was voted out 4th, NEITHER one should have even been on the jury!

I have to say I really enjoyed the format this season because we actually got to know every player this season, whereas the first people voted out are normally immediately erased from our minds. But I really hope Rick is back sooner rather than later.

And while I’m hoping people come back, I still want Lisa Whelchel to come back for another season. How great she was at the game might be the biggest shock in Survivor history and I’d love to see her get another shot.

Didnt love this season. I enjoyed it being unpredictable but at the same time felt unsatisfied with a Chris win. Did he play great in the F6 on? I guess. But like, he was handed an idol at the Final 6 as well so idk how much credit we can truly give him. Without the idol he's likely gone at F5. Actually wish we got more from him this season in the game since he seemed pretty decent at it for the like 10 days he played. 

 

Also wtf is next season with the massive Sandra and Boston Rob heads....

Yeah, next season with the Sandra and Boston Rob thing doesn’t excite me. I just want my normal Survivor.

I thought this season was boring but I actually enjoyed the final. I hated the end of extinction thing, but at least bringing back Chris into the game meant some exciting things happened - but way too many idols (real or otherwise).

But Chris is super hot. And he looked fantastic in the live final. Damn! I’m happy he won. Can’t believe Gavin got four votes for doing nothing. And disappointing that it came from players that I would have thought would have valued the gameplay more - Devens and bitter Wentworth (hate her and her entitled crap).

SmoothLover, feel free to share details on your boyfriend.  During that last challenge, when he had on shorts that showed tan/white legs, I was truly checking.  But if you know something that the rest of us (forget that....that I don't) again please share.

Chris is sexy af, but tbh I also find Gavin hot. Tattoos are an easy thing for me to be won over with :) 

 

But ya, love my queen Sandra and I bet she'll still be entertaining as **** but I don't get it. So are they playing?

There have been some slow motion video clips online with Chris talking in his wet blue tight trunks or underwear and it is all revealed. There have also been some stills. I think a google search would bring either up for you or you might go to Queerty.

Since we're on the topic of hot survivor guys, where do Chris rank for some of you? My personal favorites are Michael from GI (even met him once, dreamy as all hell in person), Jay from Millennials vs Gen X, and I think honestly Eddie from fans vs favs.

I’m too bad with names or remembering specific players to rank individual players, but I will say I met Ethan Zohn once when standing in line at TKTS. He seemed like a really nice guy.
