My local organization is looking for a second musical that could be licensed for 8 shows for 3,000 or less. We are also looking for some great summer black box shows as well. I've found a few shows through MTI that would fall under that budget but I'd love more ideas. Thanks!
It's a victorian theater (with usable balcony spaces) and is not suped big. We were crowded having a 40 person cast for Christmas Carol.
Talent pool wise... it's been varying. We have alot of kids and teens. A good crop of younger adults who haven't had oppertunities and a regular group of adults in their 40s+
Birdie is a great show when you have both kids and adults - but I don't know if it will fall under 3K. I can't remember the last time I've had rights and royalties for under 3.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Duh, how could I forget? I just directed/produced it in the fall,to the tune of just over 3K. (Maybe because I paid for it back in MAY.)
