Seeing quite a few shows in the coming weeks including Company.
As it stands Hamilton (yes I know I'm late) is the best I've seen this year.
Most of the stuff I have seen this year has been disappointing.
Hadestown was a great show but average production. I disliked Caroline or Change and saw the National's Anthony and Cleopatra today which I was also extremely disappointed in.
Saw Harry Potter last week which was great but I had already seen that on Broadway.
My favourite shows seen in London this year were undoubtedly COMPANY and THE RINK (at Southwark Playhouse).
I've seen a great many other great things during the year but the only others I would place on a par with those were shows I saw in New York - DEAR EVAN HANSEN, THE BAND'S VISIT and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND.
