I'm going to Fiddler in 3 weeks. It is sold out but if you check back a week before you want to see it you may see limited seats available. This happened last week when someone on another board said it was sold out and I was able to find a pair on singles for for January 1 - 3 this week. They are gone now.
I would think this is common.
When I saw Funny Girl I just showed up at the theatre two hours before showtime and got a perfect pair for that evenings performance.
I saw Fiddler by going to the Menier and putting my name on the returns list. BO opened at 1pm i had a ticket to the Sunday matinee by 230. This production is magnificent and see it if you can.
I managed to get one ticket for a saturday evening performance. Anyone who´ve seen the show...how´s the staging? My seat is in row b but on a very side seat.
A solid production for sure. Saw it at the Menier and sat in first row. It was a small area I sat in and I felt I lived in the village.Liked it more than the last Broadway revival.

Good Luck!"
The first show I saw in London was Funny Girl in 2016. I walked up to the box office the day my flight landed as people were filing into the theater. The box office person said I was in luck as a ticket had just become available for that performance. Stalls B2 for £71.50. A great night of theater.
