I'm just one guy but I give her a pass mainly due to her age.  The Senate's handling of Judge K's confirmation has been gut-wrenching for women in general and those of Bette's age group in particular.  Her cohorts and she have had skin in the game for decades.  Kavanaugh is somewhat younger than Bette so the likelihood that he'll be seated and remain on the scotus for longer than what likely remains of her time on this earth is perhaps a bridge too far for her psyche.  At this very moment, several women over 50 are texting me like crazy in a huge wave of disappointment at Senator Collins.  Today, I'm simply either listening or responding with "I understand...it'll get better".
