I just finished watching this new series that aired over the summer. I searched but found no thread for it. Season two has been confirmed.

Did anyone else watch and have any thoughts on the show? I was reluctant to start it, thinking I didn't want to see a show about rich assholes, but I'm glad I did. The characters are so richly drawn that I cared about and sometimes sympathized with them. It's funny and felt like a fresh take on an old story, recalling King Lear, Dallas, and other cultural references. Apparently ratings were miniscule and that's a shame for such an entertaining show.
