Does anybody here have any info on obtaining tickets to the Tonys dress rehearsal Sunday morning? Where to look, buying them off someone, anyone with extras, any information at all!! I’d be so grateful for any info at all!! Thank you a bunch!!
Contact the production company, White Cherry Productions, and see what the policy is. Back when I worked on the Tony’s, getting rehearsal tickets was about who you know.
I agree, "on who you know". I was friendly with the head of security. When I used to visit during Tony week, he always gave me a ticket for the dress rehearsal. In my opinion, most of the audience were friends or family of someone in the know. Of course, this was before the show moved to Radio City Music Hall.
I attended the dress rehearsals for the 2016 Tony Awards and I wasn’t given any physical ticket but a badge hanging on a lanyard. It just said GUEST on it.
Also, it’s not full out seated event as there are things going on and people walking around and the people who were seated (as I was) are just a splattering. It’s not like there are people in every seat watching a show. It’s a dress and tech rehearsal and camera blocking being sorted out.

It still is
"Anything you do, let it it come from you--then it will be new."
Sunday in the Park with George
Thanks all. To BrodyFosse, how did you get your tickets? I’ve got people I’ve worked with previously in Tonys PR... reached out, maybe something will happen.

As I mentioned, I didn’t get a physical ticket, I had a badge with GUEST written on it around my neck. An old bf was in a nominated show and took me to his dress rehearsal. He just said I’m his guest and they handed me that badge to wear. That’s it. He already had a PERFORMER badge (with his photo on it) given to him at his theatre days prior.

I was around Radio City last year during dress rehearsal and there was a group of people, lining up, with tickets. I know rules have changed (I think...) they’re not offering public tickets anymore... but I do know people go. Does anyone have information on how? Would be much appreciated!!
