Hey so I’ll be traveling to London for my first time ever this summer! I’m so super excited as I’ve always wanted to go! I’ll only be there for three days in July (wish it was longer!!) and we plan on seeing two shows, one on a Monday night and the other on a Tuesday night both at 7:30. As of right now we plan on seeing Dreamgirls and 42nd Street but I’m open to ANY suggestions! Are these two good picks? I’ve heard good things about both but if there are other shows we should see to like swap out lemme know. Also should I buy tickets online right now, or wait to get them there like at the box office? Can you even do that in London? In New York we always just go to the theater, give them a price range and get our tickets either the day before of day of the show. Are tickets pricier, the same, or not as bad? And then for seating questions any tips on the theaters of these shows? (Savoy and Drury Lane) Thank you so much and sorry for all the questions!!

Both really good picks! Dreamgirls is a knockout, and 42nd Street a really fun big production - worth seeing for the tapping alone.

Probably best to book in advance - you'll have more choice of seats and might find better deals. There are some here through Encore (https://broadwayworld.entstix.com/offers), and other sites too - have a browse online.

Theatre Monkey is great for seating info: http://www.theatremonkey.com/seatingplanindex.htm

Have a good trip!
