Anyone know if Kinky Boots is getting rid of their lottery? I went to enter for this Friday (2/25) and it's not an option - only Tuesday and Wednesday's performances are listed. I thought they put up the weeks worth of performances?
They let you pick your seats, but my mom won it twice and both times the only available options were in the boxes. When she brought me, she picked one right behind the other closest to the stage and the sight line was amazing.

I did this exact same thing to pick seats for my friend and me when I won it for yesterday. Right side boxes, 2nd and 3rd row, closest to the stage, one behind the other. I concur, we bought thought the view was amazing. Lucky for us we caught Wayne Brady's last show.

I was curious since the show usually does something nice for new/departing cast members."
I didn't know that it was Brady's last show (hence why I realized my luck for winning the lottery for his last show -- I only found out at stage door when fans and actors were mentioning it -- but he did not come out). But the energy from the audience was amazing that night! I thought it was just the standard love for Brady because he WAS AMAZING, my goodness. His comedic timing and delivery is deadly and his moves and his voice.. and those legs XD.
"Hold Me In Your Heart" had a very extended (two rounds of) applause, and he got applause again when Brady walked off the stage at the end of the scene. Nothing special at curtain call (which is why I *still* had no idea), other than they gave Wayne Brady an extra bow at the end with extended applause. No speech, just lots of love.
Curious who is playing Lola this weekend or if they're simply giving each understudy one performance?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I actually won this lottery today and it was the first one I've won that I got to choose seats (I've also won Book of Mormon, Phantom, School of Rock and Mean Girls). For this show, you only got to choose from the box seats, which I was nervous about since I've read that the back couple box rows are pretty terrible. I must have been the first lottery winner today to click the email link to choose my seats, as they were all available and I selected first row. Out of curiosity, I clicked through about 10 mins later and noticed that the first row on the other side had also been quickly purchased.
Any word on how easy it is to win lottery tickets for this these days?
My friend is coming into city for part of my quick Jan. 4 - 7 trip. She’s willing to see 2 shows with me and American Son is the other one. Kinky Boots is in the running for the other slot along with DEH and The Prom.
Also where are seats for lottery tickets located these days?
I think it depends who is in the show. Neither lead is a name, so it might be easier now. I was entering weekly during Brady's second stint and actually won for David Cook's opening night. Good luck!

Honestly, in a perfect world we’d win DEH lottery over this or lose both lotteries and DEH would be at TKTS on that Friday (1/4/19) but if we end up seeing this I’ll be happy if we get good seats. The only time I saw it was via SRO so not sure how seats are for tall guys with bad knees.
Kinky Boots is always up at TKTS for 50% off and there's always a discount code or two available.

I had just won the Kinky Boots saturday eve show for last night!! It was such an amazing show. When my friends had won, they all got to pick their seats with a code but it was also weeknights (Mon-Thurs). However, when I won for the Saturday eve show I was not able to choose and most if not everyone in the box seats were winners. I don't normally sit in box but these were AMAZING box seats and the actors looked at you on numerous occasions!
That’s great to know. We’re trying for tickets on a Friday night (1/4/19) so we might be in a similar situation. In your estimation do all the box seats offer a good view of the stage? Thanks!
I won the lottery yesterday afternoon as well! Looks like we just missed each other haha. Also did not get to choose my seat. Maybe there is more of a demand on the weekends but I was in the first box on the right. Great view for the show!!! Yes, the actors do get very very close to you
Mike and Mayar, was tgusxboth of your first Times entering the digital lottery? I’m thinking our chances are pretty good as it’ll be post-NYE although I know some tourists who came into town for NYE will still be there. Based on some of the great hotel prices (including the one I was able to secure with hotel points) available during the period of time we’ll be there (Jan. 4 - 7), I’d say that the more sluggish tourist season will have already begun.
