I had one for Hello Dolly (with Bernadette Peters). My seat was pretty far to the left in the orchestra, and I couldn't see part of that side of the stage - for instance, during the dinner scene I could see Dolly's table but not the one with the younger characters. But that wasn't TDF's fault necessarily - I looked later and the production had that seat listed for a pretty high price (I can't remember how much), not as a partial view seat. However if I had paid the full price for that view I would have been pretty annoyed

Great. Does anyone know who his understudy has been? If it's Brian Sears you won't miss Radcliffe unless a die hard Harry Potter fan.

The only way I can budget this show is to see it without Groff or Radcliffe and I chose Radcliffe. Seeing this Tuesday night via TodayTix for $129 and the seat is great, but I'll be kicking myself for not waiting to see if this popped up on TDF!

Yes, would much rather see Groff in over Radcliffe on a budget shop.
Saw Lempicka last night and was orch row M house left on the wall. It was not marked partial view but boy was it. Missed quite a lot due to the large speakers blocking a lot of what whatever would happen on the SR downstage platform. I was under the impression that TDF didn’t do partial view, can anyone confirm this or did I just assume that? Thanks all.
Gotcha, guess I’ve just lucked out in the past :) I always wonder how productions decide what specific seats are “officially” partial view, like whose job is it to officially make that call/ is it decided in previews?

I've received occasional Off-Broadway tickets as E Tix, but TDF's M.O. is box office pickup because the B.O. staff is technically supposed to request your ID to make sure you're not using your account to buy tix for other people.
Appropriate seats were the last row of left orch (row P) seats 5 and 7. Great view! Only complaint is from the rear orch you could hear so much noise outside the Belasco… conversations, music, sirens, etc.
This is an issue in almost every broadway house. Happened to me twice this week at Lempicka and Notebook. The whole theatre could hear the siren of an ambulance stuck in traffic for a prolonged period of time. It’s disgraceful. We should not have to accept that this is NYC and this is just the way it is, especially when people r paying top dollar.

How inconsiderate. Fires and medical emergencies should really be more mindful of theatre goers.

Let's hope you never need an ambulance service. But if for some reason you do, remind them to turn off the sirens as you don't need it as you are in no rush.
"I hope your Fanny is bigger than my Peter."
Mary Martin to Ezio Pinza opening night of Fanny.
