@Kathleen, Thank you for the information! Did the people behind you got the box D seats? Just wondering if there's any order that they give out the tickets in.. and if I should aim to arrive earlier to get the better seats.

Saw a photo of the view from Box D and A... they look awful!

The woman in front of me was dealing with an unfortunate situation with lost tickets and was chatting with the box office employees for a while so to my knowledge I bought the first set of rush seats (Box E). The girls behind me got the next two seats in Box B, the girls behind them got two seats in Box D. They moved their seats to sit one behind the other, but I have no doubt their view was more obstructed than mine. If you're able to rush on a weekday, I'd recommend getting there between 7:30-8am and asking specifically if the seats you get will be a box. If they are, ask for Box B or C if they're available (I've heard F is good as well as it's further back but I do think you miss more sitting on the right side than on the left side). Best of luck!

How much do rush tickets cost? Looking to see the show again before Derek and Caroline leave, and rushing is my only option. I’ve seen mostly that it’s $42 but I just wanted to make sure:

Bumping this thread - has anyone tried to rush Anastasia lately?

I just rushed this morning and got there at 7:55am. There were 7 people in line which equated to 11 tickets when I counted (then the two girls in front of me left so I got the last ticket!). It's spring break though for a lot of college students so I think the times for rushing are different!

I am going tomorrow! Derek has been out, do you know if he is in today? If you dont, would you mind letting me know tonight?

Derek and Caroline (and the rest of the principals) were in the show last night. I don't know if things will be different with the weather and as it gets closer to their departure date but 7-7:30 seems to be a good window to be first in line. Though the line wasn't very long yesterday by the time the box office opened.

The weekend seemed better sold which is why I chose to rush on Tuesday. There were still a decent number of unsold seats in the mezzanine at show time. I don't know if they would have sold those as rush or if they stick to the 10 tickets. I'm glad I was able to move in act 2 because the show is oddly staged so if you're on the extreme sides you miss anything that happens on your side of the stage. There's enough that's specifically staged on either side of the stage (like right against either wall) that it gets annoying.

Who has rushed lately? I am trying on Saturday morning, and I'm wondering when is best to arrive!! Help is greatly appreciated!

I rushed yesterday (Wednesday) and today (Thursday). I arrived around 9:50 am yesterday and there were about 15 people ahead of me. Evening tickets ran out around person #11, and the girl in front of me got the last matinee ticket. I arrived around 9:10 am this morning and I was the 7th person in line and got the last rush ticket. They also have discounted orchestra tickets with partial views for $69 if you aren't able to get a rush ticket. Not sure if you can buy these discounted orchestra tickets online / via calling the box office.

I would recommend arriving between 7:30-8 for a Saturday show! I would imagine more people would line up on a Saturday, but at least you have two shows that day. Good luck!

At 10:00am on Sunday, May 20 there were 6 people in front of us hoping for a total of 12 rush tickets. We heard there are only 10 available for each performance.

I haven't tried it yet but I was told at the box office a couple of weeks ago, that you have to come at least 2 hours before they open to have a chance at rush tickets.

I rushed the show last Wednesday and was second in line around 7:40ish. A side note about the tickets - we got a pair of box seats as did most if not all of the people in the rush line (recognized the faces since we chatted quite a bit). The first seat was OK but I could probably see 30% of the stage when siting in my seat, partial view was an understatement. Luckily two minute before curtain, I asked an usher if we could move to the front mezz since the first few rows were pretty much empty and he let us do it. At least 5 more people from the rush line did the same and a lot more people moved during the interval.

My daughter and friends rushed this past week, got there just before 8 and were #3-6 on line. First seat was mezzanine row B far left but full view and the rest orchestra very far right partial view. The cast, especially Christy Altomare were so nice at the stage door.

I think I might rush today but if I get there at 10:30AM is that still enough time for two ticket? It's also a two show day... hopefully that helps!!?

You're obviously awake ... why not go to the line now?

Has anybody gone on a Saturday recently. I'm hoping to rush tomorrow morning and I was wondering if 9:30 is too late to get there. I've heard of people getting rush tickets right before curtain but I know it's probably harder on Saturdays. Any info would be great!
