I love when some of these older threads re-appear. I do find it amusing that the name that not be mentioned said "Leave Me Alone" I have always tried to but as you have to be the first to post everything factual or not(Always time to correct that later). Latest example Hamilton Movie.

So as long as everyone agrees with your posts all is hunky dory? But you were on this board with all your Trump raving but lets not question it and slide it under the rug so no one remembers.

As a Gay Man who was there at the start of the AIDS crisis. I have been to many marches, rallies, bringing meals to my gay brothers and sisters, Standing for equal rights, gay marriage and so on. My generation and those that proceeded me did this to hopefully make it easier for the next generation. and then to think anyone from that generation would vote and spew their love for Trump on here to me is a slap in the face.

Should I now say this will be my last post on here or stand by my beliefs if someone questions what I have to say? Hmm I think I'll stay and not take my ball and go home.

What a beautiful post, Huss, and very well said indeed! I really do not understand how someone like BroadwayConcierge gets a free pass when it comes to posting every single Breaking News, Preview, Closing, etc. thread. He should absolutely be held accountable for his actions, on the boards or off!

I think the problem is not that he's lied but that we misheard him. We thought we heard him say he'd be good for the gays but in actuality, he has confirmed he said he'd be good for the goys.

Seriously, he is and has always been a conman. It's fine to hope for the best but no one can be surprised when it doesn't happen.

Yes. Because the moderators here at Broadwayworld have no problem tolerating racism. But have a problem with people calling out racism. Which makes them just as bad as the racists who frequently post on this board.

I mean, Solipsist234 your post is such a childish display of name calling and condescension. I hope moderators take action to that kind of post because it is just pointless personal attacks to a specific person - no discussion of any issues what so ever. BroadwayConcierge may have voted for Trump but so did almost half of the voters in the USA, if I recall correctly. It is a mainstream decision not some unusual fringe extremism. Do you think this behaviour will ever help anyone be 'woke'? 

This uncomfortable witch hunt because someone who has mainstream views doesn't conform to the echo chamber here is awkward. Of course, everyone knows I personally don't align with BroadwayConcierge's views at all - I have even LESS in common with him than most of you who are far more conservative than me. But I know what it is like to face the conservative machine here whether it was criticising the conservative Democratic candidate, or having people jumping on me for criticising conversative, false belief systems that are one of THE major causes of LGBT oppression on this earth.

Very few people here are as open-minded, progressive or intellectually engaged as they think they are. I don't want you to have the attitude that people like BroadwayConcierge should be removed because I'm not confident you all are always correct in your assessment of what views should be allowed and what not. It's a slippery slope I don't think we should go down. 

If you are really concerned at what someone is saying then I suggest as a last resort you hit the block button - it's there for a reason! Let those that can actually handle being exposed to challenging, difficult, uncomfortable ideas that might not align with our own carry on without you.

qolbinau, you and I both know that BroadwayConcierge has this sort of dominance over the rest of the board. The only problem I really have with him is that he runs the boards, even though he's pretty unpopular on this board, so I don't understand how the rest of BroadwayWorld is okay with him despite the things he's said and done.

So maybe I did say some condescending and childish things in my original post, but... you would have to be in on a lot of private messages to understand the true nature of who BroadwayConcierge is! 

I know I'm coming across as this delusional, crazy person, but I'm trying to do what's right for BroadwayWorld! It's unfortunate that I'M the unpopular one, considering the things BroadwayConcierge has said that only a handful of posters are aware of on these boards. If this were really a free, open, networking site, I would (and should) be allowed to post whatever I want unmonitored. It's kind of like what kdogg was alluding to in another thread about free speech on the boards.

Maybe I don't know the full extent of his posts recently or I just ignore them, because my perception was that ever since Trump got elected people here have asked BroadwayConcierge to be accountable to some of the criticims and he doesn't really engage with it much anymore. Are there still active controversies taking place? Personally I'm finding the witch hunt a little boring. Has he even posted in this thread? Maybe again because I find it a little boring I kind am ignoring what is taking place and I don't fully understand what is going on.

And yes obviously I'm not involved in any kind of PMs about this etc. - I haven't really involved myself much.
