Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.

I have read Not Since Carrie several times and the one show I wish had made it to Broadway was Colette with Diana Rigg. I think it closed on the road, but it sounds like it would have been fascinating.
By the way, wasn't the author supposed to be working on a second part? Think of all the flops he could include since Carrie?

THE WOLVES, for sure. Even if it hadn't beaten Harry Potter this year (although it was a Pulitzer finalist, so they certainly would've had a chance), it still would be great for a Broadway audience to see this.
If they can mount Ivo's VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, I think they could stage THE WOLVES very similarly in a proscenium space.
Unfortunately, now that regional productions are popping up, I don't think it'll make its way to Broadway. Even though it sold out at Lincoln Center as soon as it went on sale.
Also, my #1 show I'd give anything to see again is LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, which I'm praying they'll let Tiffany remount after the success of Harry Potter. It's one of my favorite things I've ever, ever seen. They did something similar in London where the transfered over The Glass Menagerie last Spring, so I'm hoping the same can happen here. I think it could kill in a limited run in a medium sized house.

The Tempest starring Christopher Plummer at the 2010 Stratford Shakespeare Festival was a magnificent production. I spoke to him after a performance and asked if there was any chance the show might come to Broadway,. He said he hoped it would, something was in the works. It didn't. Instead, Des McAnuff brought Jesus Christ Superstar to town.

I only saw the filmed version of "The Tempest", and that was incredible!
It is interesting to note how the Stratford Jesus Christ Superstar revival that transferred was such an audience success that you couldn't get a ticket. Different strokes, I guess.

And of course, Trevor Nunn’s production of My Fair Lady and the Cameron Macintosh revival of Oliver.
Saw both and agree completely.
Kind of wondering why the musical Rain never transferred. It seemed like a good show.
It ran almost a year on Broadway in 2010-11. If I remember correctly, it was a limited engagement from the tour that got extended. It changed theatres halfway through the run to make way for Catch Me If You Can.

Was that production of Jesus Christ Superstar good? I didn't bother with it. I haven't seen the filmed Tempest, need to. It just clicked.

The very first off broadway production of Bare The Pop Opera that was at the Actors Theatre. It was supposed to transfer to new world stages i believe but lost funding. the revival that eventually made it was not quality, too many cooks in the kitchen. I hear a movie is still being made though.
