Audition Dates Set For Production Of FUN HOME At Terrific New Theatre

Terrific New Theatre announces dates for AUDITIONS for the upcoming production of FUN HOME, an exciting and Tony-award winning musical. With book by Lisa Kron, music and lyrics by Jeanine Tesori, and based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, the musical is rated PG-13 for adult themes, including sexuality, suicide and language.

CURRENTLY, ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE. Casting will consist of males and females, age 8 to 50, all ethnicities. Three children: Small Alison Bechdel (age 8 to 14, 5ft tall or less), Christian and John Bechdel, Alison's brothers (one older and one younger). The adults are: Medium Alison (age 18 to 22), Bruce Bechdel, Alison's father (age 40 to 52), Helen Bechdel, Alison's mother (age 35 to 50), Joan, college friend of Medium Alison (age 18 to 22), Roy/Pete/Mark/Bobby/Jeremy, multiple characters (age 20 to 30). Saturday, August 25; By appointment only; 1p to 3:30p

  • CHILDREN ONLY (Little Alison and the Bechdel brothers)
  • HEIGHT RESTRICTION: Little Alison must be 5ft tall, or shorter

REHEARSALS BEGIN: On or about Monday, December 17, 2018 at Terrific New Theatre

PERFORMANCES: January 24 to February 9, 2019 (Thu/Fri/Sat nights at 8pm; Sun at 2:30pm)

PRODUCTION STAFF: DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER, David Strickland; MUSIC DIRECTOR, Jay Tumminello; STAGE MANAGER, Kim Dean Davenport

WHERE: We are securing a location for the auditions now. We will know SOON!!
