Registration Now Open For Fall Arts Classes At Howard County Center

Registration has begun for Howard County Arts Council's (HCAC) spring educational programs at the Howard County Center for the Arts in Ellicott City. HCAC offers classes and workshops for lifelong learners from Pre-K through adult. Spring arts programs, open to the public, begin the week of September 10. Classes range in duration from six to eight weeks.

Fall classes for children include Saturday Art Studio and Fall Into Art for ages 5-12; Sculpture and Collage for ages 9-15; and Fall Into Art and The Graphic Novel: Cartooning for Young People for ages 10 & up. Two needlework workshops - Pumpkin Party and A Tree for All Seasons - are also available for ages 10 & up. Class offerings for ages 14 to adult includeFundamentals of Portrait Painting and Drawing & Composition. Weekly drop-in sessions for drawing and painting from portrait and life models are also available.

Howard County Arts Council programs are subject to minimum and maximum numbers of students; early registration is recommended.
