Children's Playhouse of Maryland (CPM), in residence at CCBC Essex, proudly presents I Hate Shakespeare. This play features an ensemble cast of 10 student actors from Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Harford County.

I Hate Shakespeare is a funny, fast-moving introduction to Shakespeare, the playwright everyone thinks they hate. But, after you see this take on his work, complete with zombies, talking cows, and even Jerry Springer, you will never look at Shakespeare the same way again.

The play I Hate Shakespeare will be performed Oct. 27, 28 and Nov. 3, 4 at 1 p.m., with an additional sensory friendly show on Nov. 3 at 4:30 p.m. Performances are held in the CCBC Essex Administration Building Lecture Hall located near parking lot 4, a wheelchair-accessible facility.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by calling the CCBC Box Office, 443-840-ARTS from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday or online at www.cpmarts.org. Tickets will also be available at the door, space permitting. Please request any accommodations at the time of ticket purchase. Purchasing group tickets is also an option. For directions, go to www.ccbcmd.edu.

Children's Playhouse of Maryland, Inc. is a not for profit community theatre dedicated to youth performers ages 18 and under.
