I had the pleasure of seeing A Bronx Tale with my friend Cassy, who had NEVER seen a musical before! (I know, right?!) I invited Cassy because the 1993 movie, off which the musical is based, is her favorite. Seriously, her cat is named Calogero, after the lead character in both the movie and the play. I was excited to see this show, and especially excited to see it through the eyes of a neophyte theater goer. I was not disappointed!

In an eclectic explosion of music, raging from Disco to Elvis and all things in between, The Palace Theater presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

The Cleveland Opera has fallen on hard times and the only person who can saver it is Tito Merelli, or El Stupendo as he is known. Tito (Magnificently portrayed by Jamie Michael Parnell) has been hired to perform as the lead I Giuseppe Verdi's opera, Otello. The issue initially is that Tito has failed to arrive at the allotted time, sending the General manager of the opera into a panic.

From the moment James Pickering enters the stage you can feel the electric excitement from the audience. It is heightened by the added presence of Colleen Madden.

It's Saturday afternoon; a couple of drinks and a decent night's rest have transpired since I saw Forever Plaid at The Palace Theater, and I still can't get Sh-boom Sh-boom out of my head.

When you can not find your story, you must write it! That is exactly what Sagashus T. Levingston did. That story has now gone from coffee table book to theatrical piece.

From the moment you set foot in the theater, you feel Christmas. The giant nut cracker that greets you as you walk through the foyer is an outright invitation to enter a new world, a happier time and a place of peace and joy.

Waitress', for those who may not know, is the tale of Jenna (Desi Oakley), a waitress/expert pie maker (more about this later), who finds herself impregnated by her emotionally, psychologically abusive husband

From the first goose bump inducing crescendo to the final tear jerking note played, this musical will affect you. You'll then take it home with you, think about it, and it will affect you again. It's that good!

On Your Feet is precisely where you will find yourself at the end of this spectacular show! The familiar music is peppy and moving, and the crowd enjoyed the infectious dance groove laid down by the band which included 5 original members of The Miami Sound Machine.

Adam Hochberg (Matthew Scott) befriends fellow U.S.GI, Jerry Mulligan (McGee Maddox) after both decide to stay in Paris after World War 2.

I care about Angel. But in all honesty . EVERYONE cares about Angel. Angel was created to be loved, and the actor Aaron Acaraz was made to be Angel.

From the amazingly gothic opening number, aptly titled, A Warning to the Audience through the Finale the actors in this production not only never let the energy wane, they amazed the audience at every plot twist.

As we enter the gymnasium at Kinikiwaunomac High School we are greeted with the pep band, all in t-shirts and hats sporting the Kinikiwaunomac Kinkajous. This is the stage for the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! We await the mix of young men and women who gather together for the Spelling Bee.
