Denise Forney is a teacher / trainer / edutainer. During her days, she is a corporate trainer for UnityPoint Health hospitals in Des Moines, and on weekends, she teaches guitar lessons to many students in her Weekend Jam Session music studio.Denise is an Iowa native, and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa and received her Masters of Science Degree in Adult Education from Drake University.
She is a singer/songwriter & has released several children’s CDs with her family in the community. She also loves the stage, performing regularly at local farmers markets and festivals in the area. She is a theatre aficionado, and appreciates the local talent in our Des Moines theatrical family. She looks forward to reporting on local shows and providing updates on great theatre you will not want to miss in central Iowa.
