The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and The Rogers Foundation are still accepting nominations through midnight on Jan. 18 for the third-annual Heart of Education Awards honoring outstanding educators in Clark County School District.

The Cocktail Cabaret, a new live musical revue, is now part of the entertainment scene of Las Vegas. The revue will be performed at the iconic Cleopatra's Barge at Caesars Palace. Las Vegas tourists and locals will be immersed in a new Vintage Vegas revue featuring modern standards and original music.

Pole Show LA is returning to Las Vegas with an over-the-top production featuring pole dancers showcasing choreography, aerialists, athleticism and sex appeal. The cutting edge show will be performed at House of Blue Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay on Sept. 8.

At the turn of the 20th century, people in small town America anticipated the circus coming to town. Those days are recreated in "Circus 1903" with an extended engagement at Paris Las Vegas beginning July 25.

Dita Von Teese continues to transform the art of the striptease with her North American tour "The Art of the Teese" variety show. She will seductively take it off in an opulent production at the House of Blues Las Vegas on July 10.

For every great show filled with entertainers coming together (such as the Rat Pack and "Million Dollar Quartet"), there are some that can only be imagined to be great if it had happened. While entertainment icons Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra have passed, what a collaboration if Elvis, Sinatra and Neil Diamond had come together to entertain audiences. Rob Garrett had the same idea. He wrote and stars in "American Trilogy" about all three singing together on stage.

'Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man,' the longest running off-Broadway show, is making its mark in Las Vegas. The production starring Kendra Wilkinson ('The Girls Next Door, Kendra on Top) and Jai Rodriguez (('Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,' ABC's 'Malibu Country), is scheduled for a limited run on the Las Vegas Strip at the Paris Las Vegas through Aug. 20.

Australian entertainer Greg Bonham returns to Las Vegas performing soul and jazz in 'G'Day Las Vegas." Accompanied by his eight-piece band and award-winning pianist Ryan Ahern will perform the show at Cabaret Jazz Room at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on June 10.

In a world where clowns are born, "Clowntown" is an original musical combining murder, romance, laughs and big shoes. The musical created by Le Reve Musical Director Michael Brennan and Composer's Showcase Co-founder John Masse will debut at the Judy Bayley Theatre May 27-28.

Michael Kessler and Melinda Jackson of M&M American Dance Theatre is bringing their 30 year love story to the stage. The song and dance team will perform 'CONTACT!' at the South Point's 400-seat showroom on May 21.

Paul Lynde, the brilliant comedic actor, lives on to entertain audiences in "The Paul Lynde Show starring Michael Airington." Generations remember Lynde from his performances on Broadway and in the film "Bye Bye Birdie," his television roles including Uncle Arthur on "Bewitched" and comedian extraordinaire in the center square on "The Hollywood Squares."

"The Realistic Joneses" which was performed on Broadway in 2014, combines comedy and pathos as Bob and Jennifer Jones meet new neighbors John and Pony Jones with identical homes and a common last name.

In 1959, pioneers of rock Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper were part of the Winter Dance Party tour when their plane crashed in an Iowa cornfield. But the music and their contribution lives one and John Mueller's "Winter Dance Party" will pay tribute to the artists, their music and legacy at the South Point Showroom in the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa April 21-23.

The blending of the music of Broadway and the Las Vegas Strip returns for an encore performance with vocalist Daniel Emmet and virtuoso pianist Philip Fortenberry. 'In Concert,' with special guest cellist Lindsey Springer, will be performed at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on March 27.

Premiere virtuoso pianist Philip Fortenberry continues his solo tour, "The Hands of Liberace" tour in Arizona. Celebrating the musical genius of Liberace in his concert, Fortenberry will play well-known, loved pieces and share his insights. A performer on Broadway and the Las Vegas Strip, Fortenberry will star in "The Hands of Liberace" in the Green Valley Recreation West Center in Green Valley, Arizona on March 14.

'One Night for One Drop' as imagined by Cirque du Soleil is a completely original, one night only production befitting One Drop, the foundation of Cirque du Soleil creator, Guy Laliberte. Featuring artists from each of the seven resident Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil productions, it is a spectacular production involving over 400 Cirque du Soleil artists, designers and technicians as well as special guests. The exclusive performance will be held in the Zumanity Theatre at New York-New York Hotel & Casino on March 3.
