This week on Broadwaysted we are so excited to welcome our first Tony winner (Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony...) the wonderful and talented James Monroe Iglehart! James takes us to a 'Whole New World' as we discuss his experiences in the long-running musical MEMPHIS and his magical time in Disney's ALADDIN--from finding his own take on an iconic character to his night at the Tony Awards.

This week we're so excited there's no empty chairs at our table as we sit down with Broadway's Chris McCarrell! We pour out margaritas of sorts (margaritas with tequila and the vegetable juice Kevin brought) and discuss Chris's experience in LES MISERABLES on Broadway.

This week Broadwaysted is thrilled for this purrrrrfect opportunity to welcome the oldest cat on Broadway, otherwise-ingenue Eloise Kropp! We pour out all sorts of spirits into fancy tin cups and Eloise shares her road to becoming (as Bryan calls her) Ja-nay-nay-dots and dancing in a (as Bryan calls it) 'one-i-tard' in the original revival cast of CATS! Eloise spills about how she's actually a dog person, her whirlwind experience in DAMES AT SEA on Broadway (those commercials!), and her odd job cold-calling people.

In this SPECIAL Broadwaysted episode, we're celebrating the opening night of the New York City Opera's CANDIDE (directed by Hal Prince) with the brilliant leads, Broadway favorite Jay Armstrong Johnson and classical soprano Meghan Picerno!

This week on Broadwaysted we are celebrating all things 2016 with an End of the Year Review and we're excited to welcome back #FriendsOfTheShow Justin 'Squigs' Robertson and Annoying Actor Friend Andrew Briedis! In the exciting conclusion to #Kev4Ham, Kevin talks about his experience seeing HAMILTON (Spoiler Alert: He Liked it) and then we discuss the many amazing incarnations of Sally Bowles.

This week the Broadwaysted crew is celebrating Thanksgiving with the wonderful and talented Andrew Keenan-Bolger! We pour out our version of a Moscow Mule and Andrew talks about his experiences in NEWSIES and TUCK EVERLASTING and his brilliant webseries SUBMISSIONS ONLY Andrew spills about his nightmare college audition moment, his meta experience watching the Original Cast watching the Revival Cast in FALSETTOS, and his exciting new work with the Honest Accomplice Theatre called the TRANS LITERACY PROJECT. 

The Broadwaysted crew has chills, and they're multiplying. Why? Because we're sitting down with everyone's favorite 'Slacker Danny,' Broadway's Max Crumm! This week, the crew pours out bootleg margaritas (vegetable margaritas...thanks Kevin) and Max spills about his experience on GREASE: YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT and later working with Broadway powerhouse talent in DISASTER! Game Master Kimberly leads us in a round of 'Loose Lyrics' where we celebrate 90s high school music, a round of 'High School Hop,' and then we play Lights of Broadway Show Card Poker (wanna play with your friends? This week on Broadwaysted we welcome the talented performer and avid gamer Alex Boniello!  We pour out Jack and Gingers and discuss how Alex auditioned for Deaf West's SPRING AWAKENING in a catering uniform and the disaster scenario that played out the night he arrived in L.A. to join the production.

The tequila is flowing as we discuss Arbender's incredible and diverse Broadway career and he shares (no joke) possibly the greatest 'big break audition story' we've ever heard! Arbender spills about his dream role, how a math teacher and a nun changed his life, and the differences between creating a role and being a replacement in an established production on Broadway.

Lesli dishes about the ironic text message she got about Cats, her Star Wars wedding and ranking of the seven films in the franchise, and the time she died twice on stage (I smell a rat!). Kimberly recently attended Miss America and informs us all about the 'Show Us Your Shoes' parade and the entire group casts a fantasy version of Real Housewives of Broadway with famous wife characters. We play Lights of Broadway Show Cards 'Heads Up!' and Lesli shares her story about working on stage with artist and #FriendOfTheShow Squigs.
