ArtsBridge Announces 2018 Summer Programs For Musical Theatre Students and Directors ArtsBridge has a created some great opportunities to help musical theatre students and directors improve their skills over the summer, and keep their momentum going. These classes and sessions are focused on professional and personal development and will be taught by top industry professionals. ArtsBridge programs take place at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339.

Musical Theatre Dance in the style of Hamilton - Saturday, June 2 and Saturday, June 9 at 10 am

Students have two incredible chances to take their dance and performance skills to the next level in this Broadway Connection Master Class! Join us for an inspiring Musical Theatre Dance class taught by a cast member of the touring production of Hamilton. The class includes a warm-up, combinations in the show's style of choreography, and an informative "Behind-the-Scenes" Q & A where students are encouraged to ask about auditions, Broadway, and the excitement of performing every night! Students should wear clothes and shoes in which they can easily move. Appropriate for grades 6-12. Cost: $50 Student, $25 Observer.


Director's Bootcamp - Tuesday, June 26 through Thursday, June 28

All fine arts educators and community directors are invited to attend ArtsBridge Foundation's Director's Bootcamp where participants will learn new tips and tricks for musical theatre productions! This three-day bootcamp, led by industry professionals, including members of the Shuler Awards Production Team, will give directors of all experience levels a baseline knowledge as well as creative ideas for producing a successful musical theatre show with limited resources. Past workshop topics have included lighting design, audio, set design, choreography, makeup design, music direction, and more! This class is for adults and students 18 years or older. Cost: $75


Musical Theatre Performance in the style of The Book of Mormon on Saturday, July 21 at 10 am

Students will have an unforgettable experience taking their dance and performance skills to new heights in this Broadway Connection Master Class! Join us for an exciting Musical Theatre performance class taught by a cast member of the touring production of The Book of Mormon. The class includes a warm-up, combinations in the show's style of choreography, and a "Behind-the-Scenes" Q & A where students can ask about auditions, Broadway, and the excitement of performing every night! Students should wear clothes and shoes in which they can easily move. Appropriate for grades 6-12. Cost: $35 Student, $15 Observer.
