World Class Programme In Store For TDP'18 Now in its 9th year, Tipperary Dance Platform's International Festival has been positioning dance as a medium that is particularly suited to take a look into the turbulent matters of our time, including tradition, gender, identity, ageing, and continuity. The world class programme for TDP' 18 includes appearances by The Liz Roche Company on Monday and Tuesday October 8th and 9th, Spanish Choreographer, Mariantonia Oliver addresses the question of mobility and the necessity for all of us to stay active and maintain our plasticity and she will conduct workshops in Nenagh Arts Centre with woman over 70 from the local area on October 5th, 6th and 8th with a performance on October 9th. Alexandra Waierstall, Ben Duke, Luke Murphy, Dylan Quinn, Diarmuid McIntyre, Holly Small and Affari Esteri are also on the extensive programme for TDP' 18. Canadian, Holly Small has worked with Irish Language Poet, Doireann Ní Ghríofa, to reinterpret her poetry for a dance piece called "Museum of Missing Things."

The Festival's opening event is also with Holly Small with a show for small children based on the writings of Dr Seuss, "So You Say" in Clonmel Library. She will also perform for children in Nenagh Library on Tuesday, Excel Arts Centre on Wednesday and Thurles Library on Thursday.

There are masterclasses, workshops, exhibitions and symposiums and it will put Tipperary at the centre of the dance world for the week. Artistic Directors and curators, Jazmin Chiodi and Alexandre Iseli have assembled a varied and multi generational programme which will give audiences an unforgettable experience.

Enjoy the wide range of Performances, Exhibitions, World Wide selection of Dance Films, Live Installations, Screendance and Master Classes in a programme which will take place in venues, galleries, libraries and cinemas, in Tipperary, Clonmel, Thurles and Nenagh, from October 8th to 14th.
