Stage Right Theatrics is a company promoting conservative-themed plays and the artists who create them. In a new feature from Vice News, the company - based in Columbus, OH, is profiled. Check out the video.

The company was started by playwright Robert Cooperman, in an effort "to give credence to a truly marginalized group of artists whose voices are systematically silenced."

One of the company members interviewed for the story notes, she'd like to see more plays from the perspective of a "cis-gender nuclear family lens."

The shows featured in the upstart theatre festival includes stories about how gun ownership can save lives, the emotional toll of abortion, and the breakup of an unmarried couple.

The next production on sale is titled "Stonewall Jackson's House" - a play by Jonathan Reynolds. The play is about a black docent leading a group through the restored home of a Confederate general who asks a well-to-do white couple if she can come home with them as their slave.
