Timothy McCuen Piggee & Cynthia Jones To Star As Daddy Warbucks & Miss Hannigan In 5th Avenue's ANNIE

Leaping lizards! The 5th Avenue Theatre is thrilled to announce that acclaimed Seattle actor Timothy McCuen Piggee and longtime 5th Avenue Theatre favorite Cynthia Jones will star as Daddy Warbucks and Miss Hannigan in this holiday season's production of the beloved musical Annie.

Both Piggee and Jones have previously performed at The 5th Avenue Theatre; Piggee, who has worked on most Seattle stages including Intiman, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and ACT Theatre, was seen in The 5th's world premiere production and the Broadway cast of Catch Me If You Can as well as Jacques Brel is Alive and Well & Living in Paris and Candide. Jones, who returns to Seattle for Annie, was seen at The 5th in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel, ELF, and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella.

The 5th is also thrilled to welcome Billie Wildrick, an up-and-coming director in Seattle known for her show-stopping performances in The Pajama Game, Ragtime, and Guys and Dolls, as she makes her 5th Avenue Theatre directorial debut. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Playing November 23 - December 30, 2018 (press opening Friday, November 30), single tickets for Annie are on sale now and subscriptions are still available online at www.5thavenue.org, by phone at 206.625.1900, or in person at the Box Office at 1308 5th Avenue in Downtown Seattle.

Join Annie, Sandy, Daddy Warbucks, and the wicked Miss Hannigan for one of the best theater experiences you will ever have. Laced with unforgettable stories and songs including "Tomorrow," "It's a Hard Knock Life," "Easy Street" and so many others, this is a musical that will stay with you for a lifetime-no matter how old you are. Annie is a magical, musical thrill for the entire family that is perfect for coming together during the holiday season. This is the first time theater's favorite redhead will play The 5th Avenue Theatre's stage since 1986 and is The 5th's first self-produced production; the national tour of Annie re-launched the theater after its historic re-opening in 1980.
