The Luxury Chronicle And Prithvi Fine Art And Cultural Center Hosted A Special Evening Of Art And Poetry For 'Musavvir Ka Khayal' Launch

The Luxury Chronicle and the Prithvi Fine Art and Cultural Center hosted a special evening of art and poetry on August 17th, 2018, at the JW Marriott.

The event was planned around the launch of the book 'Musavvir ka Khayal' by renowned artist Sangeeta Gupta, at the preview of the chic new venue 'The Gallery Room' at JW Marriott Aerocity. This is a book of ink drawings by Sangeeta Gupta, on which she has written in hand her poetry of short verses, on the theme of love and longing.

The event kicked off with a welcome address by the Nitesh Gandhi, General Manager of JW Marriott, Aerocity, followed by Neelima Agrawal, CEO The Luxury Chronicle who had organized this event. The beautiful book of ink drawings with hand written short verses of poet ary by Sangeeta Gupta have a powerful foreword written by Mrs Sushma K Bahl BHE, an arts advisor, curator and formerly, Head Arts & Culture, British Council India. In view of the tragic loss of ex Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayi, who was a great poet and orator, the poet Sangeeta Gupta paid her tribute to him. The Chief Guest Padam Shri Anjolie Ela Menon, an eminent artist herself, unveiled the book.

Speaking at the event Padam Shri Anjolie Ela Menon said, "Sangeeta Gupta is an immensely talented artist. I have seen her works when she was a very young artist and she was always brilliant." Sushma K Bahl commented on the works of the artist's maturity and depth of refined production.

Neelima Agrawal (CEO, The Luxury Chronicle) said, "Sangeeta Gupta's poetry is divine, and it is the poet in her that manifests on her canvases and every other creative work that she does."

Eminent persons of Delhi's literati and glitterati attended the private event. Seen at the event were eminent painter Stephanie Arpels and luxury consultant Francois Arpels, Padam Shree Raja & Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy, Shivani Wazir Pasrich, senior bureaucrats VK Duggal, Ravi Kumar and Abha, film star Mukesh Tyagi, Shahana Mukerjea, Anjali Sikka, Vinod Kaul CEO RVG Newsvision amongst others.
