The Broadway Cast of SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS Will Perform on Tonight's Kids Choice Awards! I'm Ready!

I'm ready! The cast of Spongebob Squarepants will take the stage tonight for a performance at the Kids Choice Awards!

BroadwayWorld has learned that Ethan Slater, Gavin Lee, Danny Skinner, Brian Ray Norris, and more cast members from the Broadway production of Spongebob will be performing during the Nickelodeon awards ceremony tonight.

The show's official Twitter account confirmed the news.

Tina Landau, Spongebob's director, took to Twitter to post a photo of Slater and Lee gearing up for the show!

The Kids Choice Awards air tonight at 8pm EST on Nickelodeon.

Spongebob Squarepants the Musical closed on September 16, 2018, due to previously announced renovations to its home, the Palace Theatre.

SpongeBob SquarePants was named Best Musical by the Drama Desk Awards and Outer Critics Circle and earned 12 Tony Award nominations - the most nominated musical of the 2017-2018 theatre season - winning for Best Scenic Design of a Musical (David Zinn).

SpongeBob SquarePants features an original pop and rock-infused score by a legendary roster of Grammy® Award-winning songwriters. The SpongeBob SquarePants cast includes Tony Award Nominee Ethan Slater as SpongeBob SquarePants, Tony Award Nominee Gavin Lee as Squidward Q. Tentacles, Lilli Cooper as Sandy Cheeks, Brian Ray Norris as Eugene Krabs, Danny Skinner as Patrick Star and Wesley Taylor as Sheldon Plankton.
