The 574 Theatre Company Presents Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN

The 574 Theatre Company of Mishawaka, IN presents The Music Man on Friday, August 10 and Saturday August 11 at 7:30pm and Saturday August 11 at 1pm at the Battell Community Center Auditorium located at 904 N Main St Mishawaka, IN 46545. Tickets are $20 for the main floor and $15 for the balcony, and can be found on www. 574theatre.com/buy-tickets. Seating is general admission.

Directed by 574 Theatre Artistic Director, Alex Price, The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, played by Shawn Holtgren, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize - this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

Director, Alex Price, says "Meredith Willson's The Music Man is one of the most classic musicals of the American musical theatre canon, and it's a hit for the whole family. It's been a great joy to collaborate with this team of artists to bring the 574 community a top notch production. Join us!"

The Music Man cast consists of all ages of actors ranging from age 7 to age 55. Actors are from all over Michiana including Mishawaka, South Bend, Goshen, and Elkhart.

The 574 Theatre Company is a new professional theatre company located in Mishawaka, IN. Under the direction of Artistic Director, Alex E. Price, and Executive Director, Joshua Louis Maurer, 574 Theatre seeks to create high quality and professional theatrical productions for the 574 area.
