Sun And Moon Entertainments Announces The Second Performance Of Show Tunes Concert

Sun and Moon Entertainments announces the second performance of Show Tunes: A Musical Concert, featuring musicians and actors currently active in New York and Tokyo, in an impressive collection of popular musical scores. The event will be held in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Due to popular demand, this long-awaited second performance follows last October's sold-out performance, which had great feedback from the crowd. This time, the performance will be held in Tennoz Isle, Tokyo's up-and-coming waterfront district. This year's venue is the brand-new Kiwa Tennoz, surrounded by the beautiful canals of Odaiba; an impressive upgrade in size from last year's venue, and with quick, easy access to central Tokyo.

Starring Lora Nicolas, Kenichiro Agawa, Chizuko Kurose, Hiromi Narita as vocals, Yuki Hatano on drums, and Akiko Almanzar on piano and as Music Director.

NY-based actor, Lora Nicolas returns with her impressive voice to charm the audience once again. Last year, her powerful, yet delicate voice quickly captivated the audience members, who gave great praise and shouts of admiration from their seats. Lora starred as Kim in Miss Saigon (Red Bank, NJ? and again in 2014 at Fort Collins, CO, for which she won a BroadwayWorld Award for Best Actress. Further, she has starred as the main act in various other musicals, including Drowsy Chaperone, West Side Story, Rent, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Spelling Bee, and Little Women. She recently finished a successful run of Avenue Q as Christmas Eve in Key West, FL.

Kenichiro Agawa is a musical actor with a reputation for having a beautiful voice. During his time with the Shiki Theatre Company, he performed in Phantom of the Opera, Lion King, Evita, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Upon leaving the Company, he appeared in Hair Spray, Sound of Music, and Secret Garden, as a member of Japan's first production cast. He is also a Tenor soloist of Beethoven, Symphony No. 9. He was also nominated to perform the national anthem at the Synchronized Swimming Japan Open.

Chizuko Kurose is a singer with great skill and character. She has appeared in Lost Forest, Three Penny Opera, Midori no Tenshi, One Stormy Night, Sign, Kamuirera, Coelacanthus, Astronomer, Akai Hana, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Himeyuri, Quo Vadis and Meiji Tokyo Renka: Oborozuki no Kuroki neko.

Hiromi Narita toured the country as a singer as part of Tokyo Disney Sea's 15th Anniversary concert, while being an active singer in the pops group, Little Hungers. He is now active as a singer in popular theme parks across the globe. He is an up-and-coming singer in the pops and musical world.

Yuki Hatano is a drummer, performing mainly in pops. He has collaborated with many musical actors in recent years. Major artist collaborations include Kana Uemura, Gospellers, Junichi Inagaki, Ryuichi Kawamura, and Mayo Okamoto. Last year, he was a part of former Top star of Takarazuka Revue Company, Kairi Hokusho's live tour.

Akiko Almanzar is a NY-based pianist and Music Director/Producer. She was previously a musical actor, and has performed in Contact, 42nd Street(NY) and Miss Saigon(NJ) amongst others. Since then, she became a producer, and is currently active in musical production in Tokyo and NY.
